Global Antitrust Training
Delivery Option: Online & In-Person
Across the globe, conduct perceived as antitrust or anticompetitive carries penalties, including criminal prosecution. Employers should educate their employees working with competitors, customers, and suppliers on a global level about the fundamentals of antitrust law.
Why Train on Global Antitrust?
Countries around the world are increasing their focus on antitrust and anticompetitive conduct. This means new or strengthened laws, with greater investigative powers and stiffer penalties, and enhanced governmental cooperation across country borders. Employees should understand how to identify antitrust issues and avoid potentially anticompetitive conduct.
What Does this Course Cover?
This course teaches employees how to identify and avoid potentially unlawful, anti-competitive behavior in both national and international transactions.
Employees will learn the importance of knowing the law, following organization policy and reporting questionable acts. In particular, employees will:

- Learn to avoid antitrust activities when working with customers, suppliers and other third parties around the world
- Appreciate the importance of following applicable laws and organization policy and of maintaining accurate records
- Learn how to report suspected unlawful activities and understand the importance of immediate reporting – immunity programs in many countries favor the first reporter
How is the Course Information Delivered?
Through a series of scenarios and interactive exercises, employees learn how to identify and respond to situations that could constitute antitrust activity. Employees are asked to answer multiple choice questions where they consider the possible outcomes and implications of hypothetical situations. The course concludes with customized information about how to get assistance and report concerns within your organization.
